The College aims to contribute to the life of the Catholic Church and to Australian society through education. Its mission is to form future leaders of society and the Church by a broad program of learning in the Liberal Arts that integrates the insights of faith and reason. Campion offers a Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts
as its sole undergraduate degree. The key disciplines studies are history

, philosophy
and theology
. It is possible to obtain a major in any of these four disciplines. Students are required to complete two science subjects in their final year. They may also elect to study Latin
above their normal study load. The focus of this course is the development of Western Culture
and it presents an integrated approach to study through the degree, in that each subject taken in a given semester will integrate with each other.
Campion College is classed as a Non Self Accrediting Institution and as such, its registration as an institution and accreditation of its courses are through the NSW Department of Education and Training. Approval was granted by NSW DET in April 2006 to enrol international students in the Bachelor of Arts. The College is also approved by the Australian Government as a Higher Education provider and as such, eligible students have access to FEE-HELP loans
for tuition fees. The College plans to introduce postgraduate education
, firstly through a Master of Arts in the Liberal Arts with a range of majors.
The college campus and grounds are formerly a Marist Fathers Seminary
which was dedicated to and at one time had held relics of Saint Peter Chanel.
Most of Campion's students are 18 to 25 years old. The College publishes a quarterly newsletter, Campion's Brag, and a student newsletter called the "Sextant" is also produced.
