CCEDNet is governed by an eleven member elected board. The current board of directors, as of May 31, 2010, are: Caroline Lachance (President), Carol Madsen (Vice-President), Diana Jedig (Secretary and Chair, Practitioner and Sector Strengthening Committee), Victoria Morris (Treasurer), Naomi Adams, Brad Franck, Ryan Gibson (Chair, Membership Committee), Natasha Jackson (Past President), Stacia Kean (Co-chair, Emerging Leaders), Art Lew, and Roz Lockyer (Co-chair, Policy Council).

Each year CCEDNET organizes a multi-day learning event focused. Previous conferences include:
