The China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is the largest construction company and the largest international general contractor in the People's Republic of China

The company with assets as of June amounted to 74.1 billion RMB in 2002, far ahead of the next largest construction companies in China. The total turnover of CSCEC since its inception was then estimated at 434.7 billion RMB, of which 30% abroad. 2006, the consolidated annual turnover at 117 billion RMB (equivalent to 11.2 billion euros or 18.6 billion Swiss francs).

It is divided into five main divisions and twelve traditional core business areas, including eight Group's engineering offices and four Design Institutes, as well as its own national research laboratory. At the end of 2002, the CSCEC 122,500 employees, of which 62,300 technical and administrative staff and 500 graduates of the China Engineering Academy. President of the company is Sun Wenjie.
