Born in Massachusetts
in the late sixties, he traveled around the globe with his family on various circuses and arena shows. At age 16, he began performing his award-winning solo act, which let to bookings all over the world. In 2000, he debuted a one-man show which continues to tour the United States
from time to time.
His shows display a wide variety of magic and vaudeville
skills blended with stand-up
and improv comedy. He also works extensively doing corporate events and tradeshows.
His touring show, "BLiNK! - An Evening of Award-Winning Comedy & Magic!" - tours throughout the United States each year, appearing at performing arts centers and casino showrooms. There is also a permanent production of "BLiNK!" in Anaheim, CA, at the BATTLE OF THE DANCE THEATER (Just two blocks south of Disneyland, on Harbor Blvd.)
In 2009, Lowell performed his show, "The Chipper Experience! - Where Comedy & Magic Collide!", at California's Great America. He has also performed this show, at ValleyFair theme park and Knott's Berry Farm
over the last 10+ years. "The Chipper Experience!" also successfully ran for a 12 month contract at the Horizon Casino Resort in Lake Tahoe with over 600 performances. For the past 3 years, Lowell's solo show has also toured performing arts centers across the U.S. and Canada.
Chipper was twice honored with the "Merlin" award for "Comedy Magician of the Year!" by the International Magicians Society. He was also named "Specialty Act of the Year" by the Tahoe Daily Tribune and Action Magazine. MAGIC Magazine voted him among the Top funniest magicians performing today. And he was listed among the Top three stage magicians for 2006 by the Sacramento Bee, along with Lily Tomlin and Lewis Black.
