History

Clockenflap was founded in 2008 and is organized by Jay Forster and Mike Hill. As the principal members of the Robot collective, they have been leading contributors to the Hong Kong new media arts scene since 1997. Their stated goals for the festival are to nurture the Hong Kong arts, music and film scene and "put the city on Asia's contemporary media-arts circuit".
