Cricket National Stadium

Cricket National Stadium, previously known as Queen's Park, is the name of a cricket stadium complex in River Road, Grenada
in the Caribbean
and was a location for the 2007 Cricket World Cup
.
After being rebuilt in 2000, the new complex was damaged in October 2004 as a direct result from Hurricane Ivan
. The pitch is noted for being elongated towards the Pavilion end, giving a more baseball type look to the ground. The stadium was funded by the People's Republic of China
.
After the success of its use in the world cup, the stadium has been used recently for youth games in the country including matches against touring sides from England.
