Quirks and signature calls

Dickerson stated he once accidentally said "Long gone!" following a home run and was mortified that he had done so, since he did not want to be perceived as copying the famous home run call of longtime Tigers' announcer Ernie Harwell. So he modified that to the current "Way back.... and gone!"
