. His most famous role came in the 1970s sitcom The Partridge Family
in which he played the group's manager, Reuben Kincaid.

. In 1990, he received his own regular character in the curmudgeonly window-washer Bernard Walton.

on the episode "Rave On". He also briefly reprised his Reuben Kincaid role in an episode of Married With Children.
As of 2004, he is semi-retired and living in Florida
