Early career

  • Geraghty started off in a number of bands in his home town of Leixlip

     and went on to teach himself how to play a number of instruments (i.e. guitar, banjo, harmonica, piano), and to begin honing the art of recording.

With the old cliché of 'musical differences' posing problems in the band, Damien Rice left Juniper. The group temporarily disbanded but after a short break, the remaining members reformed as Bell X1, named after the Bell X-1

  • In between Bell X1 activities and his solo jaunts, Geraghty has been side stepping into the world of Production.

Having worked in an advisory capacity with many young Dublin bands, Geraghty has produced for the likes of Ross Breen and Tiger Cooke. Tiger Cooke's second album Fingertips of the Silversmith', which is produced by Geraghty, is due for release in October 2010.

2012 should see the release of David's third album.
