, Eastside Catholic is fully accredited by the state of Washington, the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools and the Northwest Association of Secondary Schools. It is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association. The school has approximately 700-800 students in grades 6-12, employs 100 faculty members and four counselors. The Eastside Catholic athletics mascot is the Crusader. The school colors are orange, white, and navy blue. Approximately 85% of the student body participates in after school athletics or activities, and the school participates as a member of the Metro League and plays in the 3A division. Until August 2008, Eastside Catholic was located in Bellevue

The idea for Eastside Catholic originated in 1974 and the new school opened its doors in 1980 in downtown Bellevue. For its first nine years, its campus was south of the Bellevue SquareBellevue Square

Speech and Debate
Eastside Catholic has a thriving forensics program, consistently winning awards in regional tournaments and national tournaments. In 2011 the team won the overall State Championship in Congressional Debate, qualified 2 kids in Congressional debate to the most prestigious debate tournament in the country, The Tournament of Champions held yearly by the University of Kentucky and had a student place 14th at the NFL national tournament in Congressional Debate. The program was started by the legendary Mike Burton and is currently coached by Jeff Gans. The team hosts two tournaments each year, a middle school speech tournament and a comprehensive high school tournament.Volleyball
Eastside is known for its excellent varsity volleyball, which took second place in state in 2010, 2008, and 2003.Mock Trial
Eastside Catholic has had a strong Mock Trial program the past few years. In 2008, they took 3rd in the King County District Competition and finished 13th in the Washington State Competition. In 2007, the team had its best season in school history. Eastside won the Snohomish County District Competition, placed fourth at the Washington State Competition, and was invited to compete at the American Mock Trial Invitational where they also placed fourth. Robert Matthews started the program in 2003-04 and helped lead the team to its aforementioned success. In 2010 Eastside placed 9th.Middle School Sports
