Eduardo Arizmendi Jr. is a Mexican

division, where he held the Rage in the Cage middleweight championship.
, where he attended the local high school. While in high school, Arizmendi was a top-ranked recruit in football. Upon graduating high school, Arizmendi enrolled at Pima Community College
, also playing on the football team. After not being able to keep up with school work, Arizmendi planned on dropping out of school and enlisting in the United States Marines.
Arizmendi made his professional MMA debut in 2006 for Rage in the Cage. He lost the fight in the first round via rear naked choke submission. He went on to win his next three fights, all of which, ended in the first round. Arizmendi's win streak was snapped after back to back losses. Again, Arizmendi went on to win three more fights, bringing his overall record to 6-3.
At Rage in the Cage 111, Arizmendi fought future Ultimate Fighter competitor, and UFC veteran, Seth Baczynski
. Arizmendi lost the fight via second round submission. Arizmendi then won five consecutive fights before being rewarded with a title shot. Arizmendi beat veteran Mike Moritz in the first via submission, winning the middleweight title for Rage in the Cage.
In 2010, Arizmendi signed with the upstart promotion Shine Fights, but a fight never materialized and Arizmendi was released.
. His debut took place on July 8, 2011 at M-1 Challenge 26: Bennett vs. Garner 2 against Jason Norwood which he won by second round KO.
