Wiridzayi Nguruve, who in 1982 became the first Commissioner of the Zimbabwe Republic Police, was the member in charge of Eiffel Flats Police Station as a Sub Inspector, in the mid-1970s.

Present is a Primay School( Eiffel Flats Primay School) established in 1917 and its first Headmaster being Mr Loveridge.It is one of the more reputable private primay schools in both the region and the country.

A few hundred yards from the school is the Cam and Motor Club. Under it are a number of sporting societies such as the Cam and Motor Golf Club, Cam and Motor Squash/ Bowls/ and Tennis clubs along with a sports bar and family restaurant.
