Much of the electorate is situated in the growing north-west sector which has been poorly served in transport, health and police resources. A changing demographic towards the eastern side of the electorate (Glenwood, Stanhope Gardens, Kellyville Ridge, Rouse Hill) may push the former Labor-held seat to a long-term Liberal
trend in voting patterns.
