Cebula received a diploma
in television broadcasting from The British Columbia Institute of Technology
in 1997. Her first roles were as an entertainment and community announcement host on BCTV
and as an Avid editor for James Barber's cooking program The Urban Peasant on CBC
.
She continued, during this time with BCTV on their entertainment segments, Out There until 2002, when she took over as a Leo Award nominated co-host of a talk program called, Urban Rush, on Shaw Cable until 2004.
In March 2005, she returned to CHAN
, this time to her community announcement segment. The newly titled segments, Etc. and Global Village began in April 2005. In addition to this, she became an entertainment reporter for ET Canada upon the show's launch in September 2005. She is married and currently a host of a national home reno program on HGTV called "Makeover Wish".
