Euphrosyne's husband died between December 15 1321 and May 15 1324. She participated in the regency of her son John, who was now ruler of the duchy of Auschwitz. She participated in the government until at least November 14 1328, when she may have died. Euphrosyne's was last mentioned on November 14 1328, the date of her death is known from the tombstone in the Dominican monastery in Krakow
