Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and all three golf courses were purchased by Ontario based Ken Fowler Enterprises (KFE) in 2006 and 2007. KFE plans to develop residential subdivisions, condominium buildings and an "alpine resort" village. Plans also include an expansion of both the natural hot pools and the family ski hill.
