FusionReactor
Encyclopedia
FusionReactor is a commercial, server monitor developed by Intergral GmbH.

FusionReactor is a generic Java application server monitoring tool, used in thousands of deployments by some of the world’s largest organizations since its initial release in November 2005.

FusionReactor is designed for production server monitoring and uses less than 1% overhead.
FusionReactor supports Adobe ColdFusion, Railo, and Flex Data Services.

How it works

FusionReactor works as a Servlet Filter - a light weight wrapper - around your J2EE container e.g. Tomcat, Websphere, JRun etc. The filter allows users to see information about requests from application servers as well as from databases.

Features

  • Gather metrics
    Metric (mathematics)
In mathematics, a metric or distance function is a function which defines a distance between elements of a set. A set with a metric is called a metric space. A metric induces a topology on a set but not all topologies can be generated by a metric...

on what is happening inside your servers
  • Notifies you when server status changes
  • Logs extensive metric data for current and historical analysis
  • Views stack traces to set you see what is happening to your server at that moment in time
  • Crash protection, including notification, combined with server self-healing actions, based on a rules system
  • Allows threads to be manually killed
