Line Game

, say A is drawn on the ground and is bisected with a line, say B along its length. All the players stand about 2 to 3 meters away from the marbles placed on the bisected line. Let the player C hits the marbles with a bigger marble say D. As a result, some marbles are displaced out of the rectangle. A grabs the marbles which come out of the rectangle. The marbles that are displaced with in the rectangle are put back again on the dissected line. Now the turn goes to the next player. After all the players finish their turns, A takes the turn again, and plays with the marbles he gained previously. The game goes on until all the marbles are displaced out of the rectangle. The winner is the player who wins the maximum number of marbles.

Double Game

This version of the game needs a wall in a fine ground. A rectangle of sufficient size with one breath touching the wall is drawn. In it, two holes X and Y are made at a distance of the breath of point-finger and ring-finger joined together, from each other. Two or more players stand at a distance of 2 to 3 meters away from the rectangle. The game starts with a player A throwing or rolling a couple of marbles say E and F into the rectangle. A gets two points if both of the marbles fall in X and Y respectively, 1 point if only one marble goes into its hole, and no points if none of the marbles go into the holes. Now A is asked to hit any one of the marbles say E with a marble say D. If E comes out of the rectangle, along with D, then A scores 1 more point. If by fate D hits the wrong one say F directly or indirectly by induced by E, then A is said to be fouled and the next player say B takes the turn. The winner is the player who score maximum number of points.

 with a diameter of half or 1 meter, and two chords* at 90 degrees to each other, is drawn on a fine ground. The chords are drawn so that the first quadrant Q shares the maximum area. The players place some marbles in Q. The other players ask the player, say A, to hit any of the marbles, except a marble say C. A hits one of the marbles say G with a marble say E, so that they both (E and G) come out with out bombarding any of the marbles particularly C. In this case A scores the points. If this case is failed, i.e. if C is displaced by any other marble, then A loses the points and the turn goes to the next player. The winner is the player who scores maximum number of points.

 and Prakasam districts. On a sandy ground, a circle is drawn, with a small pit at its center. The first player tosses a handful of marbles into the circle. He wins the marbles that fall in the pit. The last player who wins the chain cut, chooses a marble as the king in the circle. If the first player hits the king marble directly, he wins all the marbles in the circle. If he hits the marbles other than king, and making them to come out of the circle, then he wins those marbles which come out and the turn goes to the next player who inturn targets the king. In this way ever player targets the king. The winner is the player who wins the king finally.

Kanchata

This is the most common form of Marble game played by domestic cattle keepers in many rural parts of Andhra Pradesh. The game starts with a digging a small pit. Last player who wins the chain cut at the last, puts one of his marbles, say A near to the pit. The first player's objective is to hit the target marble A placed near to the pit. If A goes into the pit, the first player wins it and goes out the game. If the hitting marble, say B goes into the pit instead of A, then both of the marbles are placed near the hole and the second player takes the turn. The second player can hit any of those two marbles A and B with his marble say C directly or indirectly. In the direct mode, he can directly hit the marbles into the pit. In the indirect mode, he can drive B and then A into the pit. Second player wins those two if he successfully drives them into the pit. The player gets extra turn if his marble C goes into the pit. If C does not reach the hole or does not hit A, the turn goes to the third player. The game continues as long as the winner achieves all the targeted marbles.
