Google Body was launched on December 15, 2010. On April Fools Day 2011, users were greeted with the anatomy of a cow on the home page.

As of October 13, 2011, due to Google's wind down of Google Labs, Google Body is no longer in operation. Instead the experiment will move forward as Zygote Body.
