Recently, in his riding, he can not be found after increasing sales tax 2%. Being one of the poorest areas of Canada, Gosse has taken money from poor and needy families for political leverage with his NDP party.
Gosse has been at a safe distance in Halifax while cutting school funding 6.5%, closing schools such as the century old Holy Angels High School, this from a former youth worker has outraged the local community. Gosse refuses to address the concerns of the people and insists on using the money for other projects like the Convention Centre in Halifax.
