The Greek Basketball Cup or Hellenic Basketball Cup (Greek
: Κύπελλο Ελλάδος καλαθοσφαίρισης ανδρών) is an annual pro basketball
national cup competition. It is organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.).
format was used. The competition format in recent years includes a total of 46 teams; 14 from the HEBA A1, 16 from the HEBA A2, and 16 from the Greek B League.
The top 6 placed teams from the previous season of the HEBA A1 have an automatic bye
to the quarterfinals, while the other 40 teams play in preliminary rounds for the other two quarterfinal places. The quarterfinal and final rounds are played under a single elimination format, while the semifinal round is played under a double elimination format.
