Green Line (TRTS)
Encyclopedia
The Green Line is four lines of the Taipei Rapid Transit System
, the Songshan Line, the Xiaonammen Line, the Xindian Line, and the Xiaobitan Branch Line. With the completion of the Songshan Line
in 2013, trains currently travelling from Xindian onto the Tamsui Line will be switched onto the Xiaonammen and, in the future, the Songshan Line. Therefore, there will be no need to transfer from the Tamsui-Xindian lines to the Xiaonammen line as it is with the current situation. Instead, passengers will need to transfer from the Green Line to the Red Line
(Tamsui and Xinyi lines) when the second phase of the TRTS's metro expansion is completed sometime between 2009 and 2019.
