The centre is built on the site of the Hongkong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown, one of colonial Hong Kong's original commercial wharfage and dockside warehousing complexes. Harbour City is still owned by The Wharf (Holdings) Limited, which was formed in 1886 to operate the godown but has since grown to be a major commercial force in Hong Kong.Features
