Education

Harmasra has a Higher Secondary School that is situated just outside of the main village. It was established in 1921. It is famous for good education since its inception. It has Science and Arts stream. The school has good Lab facility. Students from nearby villages come here to pursue good education. Apart from Harmasra there are many educated people living in nearby villages. Dr Chandranath Patra (Scientist), Dr Gorachand Ghosh (Physicist-cum-Author) and Professor Amiya Bhusan Roy (Retired from Jadavpur University) are renowned ex-students from this school.
