History
Badshah Khan was a hard working person since his childhood. He was good in studies and an owner of an intelligent mind. Sum valley as a whole was a river until Badshah Khan with the help of his versatile powers(wealth, man power) turned the face of the Sirran River into two. This made it easier for the local people to settle down at the base of Sum village. Now there are two rivers passing by Sum. One passes from the front side of Sum which touches the road moving forward for Daddar village, the other one goes from the back side touching Elai-Mang. The ruling class here has always been Khan's known as "Khan's of Sum".Political status
