(8848m). He climbed five peaks without supplemental oxygen. Contrary to initial reports, Hassan Sadpara clarified that he used supplemental oxygen during Everest ascent due to bad weather.

Background
He belongs to a remote area of sadpara Baltistan, some 6 miles away from skardu city. Now a father of four children, he started as a high altitude porter. He owns a shop of used mountaineering equipment in Sakardu city. It was his dedication and self confidence that let him to the summit of world's highest peaks.Career
He is the second Baltistani to have summited all 5x8000m peaks of Pakistan, after Mr. Nisar Hussain of Sadpara village. Unlike most climbers from the West, who are equipped with state-of-the-art climbing gear (and sometimes sponsored by multinational corporations), Hassan Sadpara started his career from a mud house with very few resources, and has climbed with whatever gear he could manage.
