. The route passes through a forested area and intersects County Highway E before curving around Weber Lake. After passing the lake to the north, Highway 122 enters the town of Saxon
. It continues northward through the community of Saxon, meeting County Highway B and crossing a Canadian National railroad line within the community. The route intersects US 2
north of the community and continues northward to another intersection with County Highway B. At this point, Highway 122 briefly turns to the northwest before heading north to a junction with County Highway A. The route then turns to the northeast and ends at the Montreal River
