, in 1860, and served as delegate to the Democratic National Convention
in 1868, 1880, 1884, and 1888.

Congresses (March 4, 1871-March 3, 1875). He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1874 to the Forty-fourth
Congress. He resumed the practice of law and served as member of the State constitutional convention in 1918. He died in Claremont, New Hampshire
