The 3rd season premiered on October 15, 2007 with the "The Chase Is On" slogan. A fourth season aired on September 7, 2008 at 10:00pm and will air 2 new episodes every Sunday night at 9:00pm–10:00pm.

The show features unusual police chases, often with highly dangerous criminals, non-routine traffic stops. Although not all footage is dashboard camera related, it also sometimes features bait car busts, and bad drivers inside the station. Sometimes, the footage shown is not finished. The video and clips seen are always non-fatal, and only in the rare cases will there be a serious incident shown. However, show counterparts such as Most Shocking

Production
Hot Pursuit first aired on February 1, 2006. In early 2007, the series aired on Thursdays at 8:00pm and 8:30pm ET.
