History
In 1950 the route was built as US 30 Bypass. Then in the late 1980s the route was to be decommissioned as a US 30, but Allen County, the city of Fort Wayne, and the City of New Haven did not have funds for the roadway. So the INDOTIndiana Department of Transportation
