Critical reception

It got favourable reaction from the critics as well as the audience. The film also set the record of being the biggest hit movie in Kannada. The film got released in around 90 theaters in Karnataka. 40 theatres alone in Bangalore area. It ran for 100 days in 72 centers, 25 weeks in 41 centers(23 theatres in Bangalore area), 1 year run in 19 centers and 500 days in 3 centers. This record is not yet broken in Kannada film industry.
