In 2009/10 Jesse was named to the inaugural class of the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory chaired by Kiefer Sutherland.
He has also created, written and starred in " Silas & the Tomb". The short film is set in the late nineteenth century and spans both the silent film comedy and horror genres. The BRAVO network has supplied funding through its Bravo!FACT program and is set to be completed in spring of 2010.

He has collaborations with Jeremy Daw at "Summit Sound", in the high energy indie-punk outfit Stylewinder (made up of Jeremy Daw, Kyle Porter and Jesse Dwyre). The band released two full length albums Omnivigant in 2000 and Incidental Music in 2002.
Jesse and Jeremy went on to form DearBombardier musical group in 2007.

Jesse is also a keen drummer and has played it since he was 5. As an ardent student of jazz and Brazilian rhythms, he has backed many jazz groups in Montreal, has co-written / recorded two albums with the rock group DearBombardier and is currently recording a new project with multi-instrumentalist / arranger Jeremy Daw. He swings with "Swing Guitars Duo", a gypsy jazz ensemble tributing Django Reinheart, and also with the "Apartment 5 Swing Band" headed up by TJ Plenty (formerly of the AsexualsAsexuals (band)
