His first film was 'Moon of the Desperados', a documentary about the American Bullrider. He won the Alberta Motion Picture Awards best film award. His next film Heartland also won the same award one year later. He directed his first commercial for Dupont in 1993 about the ingenuity of the American Farmer. That commercial premiered on the Super Bowl. He has directed commercials since then for The U.S. Navy, First Bank of America, Cigna, Citizens Bank of Canada, Florida Natural, Alina Health Care, Subway, Sovereign Bank of New York, Florida Natural, and Nascar Sprint Cup Championship. His Subway spots played during the Athens Olympics and were the biggest media buys for an American commercial to that date.
In 2003, Weinrich began working on a documentary film called 1000days, which chronicles the culture of addiction in Canada and the harsh, sexually corrupt world of crack cocaine
trade. The film follows the lives of a group of young girls, all of whom work chat lines in Vancouver
and Calgary to find men with money willing to "party" with them for sexual favors. That film has not been set for release yet.
His film Cowboy Stories, a look at the disappearing cultures of the American West, is still in production. His film 'The Life and Times of Eileen Ford' a film about the history of the Ford Modeling agency is in post production and features interviews with Quincy Jones, Rene Russo, Robert Evans, Cheryl Tiegs, Maud Adams, Tipi Hedron, Lisa Taylor, and features prominent historian Robert Lacey.
Also in development, a feature film called 'Senorita Butterfly', set in Todos Santos Mexico about a Japanese wedding that comes to a sleepy little Mexican town.
In 2007, Weinrich began Redworld Media, a publishing and film company, that publishes high-end art and photography books, and produces media content for television, film, and the internet. Redworld's first book, Collected Art, is designed by Giovanni Russo also garnered praise from Paris Vogue and editor Carine Roitfeld who called Raphael Mazzucco, whom the book is about, 'her favorite new artist in the world'. It was released in August 2008 and is sold exclusively through redworldeditions.com. Jeth Weinrich also has a film called Beautiful Deep about Raphael Mazzucco
which is slated for release in conjunction with Raphael's book Culo (produced by Interscope Records) coming out 2011.
