By 1998, Meier's company Meier Worldwide Intermedia, Inc. had built the world’s largest motion picture and television soundstage, and had control of 14 production studios He is also credited with being largest studio space provider in North America. It is estimated that he has brought over $1 billion in to the economy of British Columbia

Meier's company later divested itself of studio properties in order to focus on film and television productions and other entertainment industry projects. He sold Meier Worldwide Intermedia to Quadtech International, Inc.

Other business interests
Meier has been involved in several different companies since founding Meier Entertainment Group, Inc. in 1997. These include Covenant Corporation, which he founded in 2002 to develop technologies to counteract the digital piracy of video, music and software files. Covenant Corporation developed a desktop application called i-Fan that integrates anti-piracy solutions, artist promotion and digital music distribution. Meier achieved early success in his industry. He was the youngest person to ever be elected to the board of Directors of the BC Motion Picture Association, and was awarded the Business in Vancouver’s New Year Achievement Award, for being one of the top business achievers in BC under the age of 40.
