In 2009 Onah was selected as a directing talent at the Berlin Talent Campus and in 2010 as part of Tribeca All Access.
Student Film Competition, Szmolinsky which screened in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival, The Boundary which was designated by Amnesty International as one of its "Movies That Matter" and is currently airing on HBO, Nie Patrz Wstecz which won the Grand Jury Prize in the Nokia Mobile Movie Competition at the Camerimage
