and likely what is now KQFX-LD along with K02NQ Columbia. In 2004, it became K38II and moved to channel 38.
In February 2004, the license for today's KQFX-LD – at that point K11SN channel 11 (which it had been since 1988 owned by Thomas R. Koenig) – moved to channel 32 as KZOU-LP. KZOU-LP was a UPN affiliate. When The WB and UPN announced their merger in 2006 into The CW, KOMU's second digital subchannel won the right to broadcast CW programs, and KZOU-LP joined MyNetworkTV

as "My Zou 32". KMIZ put KZOU-LP on digital subchannel 17.3 to add digital coverage. Dish Network and most of the market's cable systems began to carry KZOU.
On 12 June 2009, KZOU-LP's analog signal was (temporarily?) shut down and the programs exclusively moved to KMIZ-DT3. In November 2009, it became simply "MyZouTV", removing the channel 32 references. By 2010, MyZouTV had been cleared by DirecTV and the remaining cable systems as well. Today, local programs on this station include Big 12 basketball and local coverage of St. Louis Cardinals weekend games.
The original KZOU-LP became KQFX-LP (and later today's KQFX-LD) on 14 June 2009; K38II became KZOU-LP on 22 June 2009 to keep the call letters. It currently is an analog repeater of KQFX-LD, though JW Broadcasting has a pending FCC application to move the station to San Antonio, Texas channel 53 (despite 53 being out of core). On September 3, 2010, the FCC cancelled KZOU-LP's license.
