Nevertheless, Quincy would begin an involvement in this channel by setting up a shared services agreement with KTTC which allows that station some operational control. As part of the arrangement, Quincy provides all technical support, promotions, commercial production, and master control for KXLT. Shockley would later sell the station to current owner SagamoreHill Broadcasting in 2005. It ceased broadcasting regular analog programming on channel 47 at noon on February 17, 2009 with it remaining on-air for a few more days airing "nightlight

Newscasts

KTTC produces a thirty minute prime time newscast on KXLT called Fox at 9 seen every night except Saturday. It originates from a secondary set at KTTC's studios featuring a separate graphics package and music theme. KXLT made the upgrade to high definition newscasts on March 21, 2011 one day after KTTC made the switch. With the launch of HD shows came a brand new set and graphics for KXLT which are now similar to Quincy-owned WSJV
