Kingston Business School offers a range of courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students. They also have a range of established doctoral research programmes; many of the courses they offer are recognised and accredited by professional bodies.

Four departments make up the Business School: Accounting & Finance, Informatics & Operations Management, Leadership HRM & Organisation and Strategy Marketing & Entrepreneurship.

Accounting & Finance

The four departments within the Kingston Business School consist of Accounting & Finance, Informatics & Operations Management, Leadership HRM & Organisation and Strategy Marketing & Entrepreneurship.
Accounting & Finance
Academic programmes include:

The Department has faculty origins in Greece, Nigeria, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand as well as the United Kingdom.

Informatics and Operations Management

This faculty provides courses and programmes designated to train its students in the following areas:
  • The science of information, the effective use of information, and the engineering of information systems as well as the application of informatics to the management of operations in business.
  • The use of information technology, as well as modelling of complex processes and systems, are key aspects of business and commerce.
  • Specialised programmes which give students 'hands-on' experience of web technologies and relevant software developments in particular.


Leadership, HRM and Organisation

Members of this particular faculty department regularly speak at international conferences and contribute to academic and practitioner journals. There are close links between teaching and research, and several members of staff have written or edited key textbooks.

Strategy, Marketing and Entrepreneurship

Courses and areas within this faculty include
  • Marketing
  • Corporate strategy
  • International business
  • Small business and entrepreneurship

Some of these areas are taught both on an Undergraduate level for students looking to take their first steps within business, they are also taught at a Masters level for students or experienced practitioners looking to further their skills and qualifications.

Activities on Campus

The Kingston Hill Campus is located approximately 3 miles from Kingston Town Centre and close to Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common, and is approximately 25 minutes from central London. The Campus has study facilities for students which include Meeting pods, designated Study rooms, numerous Computer Labs, a Learning Cafe and a Learning Resources Centre; formally known as the Nightingale Centre.

Also located on the Campus is a Halls of Residence to accommodate 565 students, Music Studio, Cafe, Restaurant and Bar. Sports and fitness activities at Kingston Hill include football, table tennis, golf and badminton..

In addition, the University also has its own sports clubs and teams which are run by the Kingston University Student Union (KUSU)..
