Upon her return to Vancouver, she was bitten by the film bug, and worked steadily in the film industry, appearing in various TV episodes, movies of the week, and TV features, as well as commercials and various animation voiceovers. , and all across Canada, Kristie was chosen to star in the role of “Sophie Sheridan” in the 2nd National tour of the hit Broadway musical, Mamma Mia!. At the young age of 19, she toured with the show for 2 years, across 51 cities in the United States, and performed 832 performances to rave reviews.
After taking her final bow on February 28, 2004, she returned to Vancouver to start a new chapter. She immediately began rehearsals for Showtime’s original movie musical feature Reefer Madness, followed by a supporting lead role in Warner Bros’ The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants, which hit theatres in June 2005. Kristie then moved to LA for a year, to continue her film career, as well as to broaden her knowledge in filmmaking and producing. Apprenticing many industry professionals, whom she'd worked with in the past, it gave her the opportunity to experience many aspects of the business that actors often do not get to experience. Kristie returned to Vancouver in the summer of 2005, to again work in Vancouver's vibrant film industry. Working on locally shot shows, such as "The 4400", "Masters Of Horror", various episodes of "Psych", as well as a series regular on "About A Girl", which continues to air on numerous networks in Canada and the United States. Kristie has also continued her voiceover career, adding her voice to such anime productions as "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time", "DeathNote", and the "Iron Man: Armored Adventures" series, as series regular, "Whitney Stane/Madame Masque". Kristie was a guest artist and speaker at Vancouver's Anime Evoluntion in 2009, and will again attend in 2010, as a member of the Iron Man guest panel. Kristie has also continued her passion of musical theatre, and has been seen on stage in Les Misérables
