History

Kumbak (originally Kumbak Coasters) was formed on 14 November 2009 just months after the bankruptcy

, a roller coaster manufacturer. The company was founded by nine former employees of Vekoma. The company expanded to a total of 16 employees less than a month later. Kumbaks first project was to design a passenger evacuation platform for Morey's Piers
