with the same goal: The necessity for rawness, spontaneity and multiple truths is something essential to revive in Bolivian cinema, fortifying concepts of presence and absence within a country in transformation. Las Herederas is a project that strives for transparency and an organic form: in the representation of a single complete woman, it encapsulates five distinct female dimensions. This composite female will be reformulated, undressed and finally be made to reappear in her most essential form".

Plot
In the mid-90s, in Eastern Bolivia, a powerful and authoritarian sixty-year-old male patriarch leaves a legacy to the women of his life. His secretary Elena, his lover Lola, his wife Olga (accompanied by Rosita, her niece) and his only daughter Alex are all called unwittingly to the same office to receive theirinheritance. Within this room, the stereotypes he has constrained them with gradually to dissolve, as their meeting begins to reveal their pasts to them in a new light. The women are thereby forced to
