in 2003, playing occasional games against first-class cricketing teams before representing a combined team of British Universities against a touring New Zealand lineup the following year. Having impressed Warwickshire with his performances during 2005, the team signed him for the 2006 season, in which he played occasionally as the number 11 batsman in the lineup. He played frequently in the Second XI, and retained his place in the first team for the 2007 season.
Daggett's father Peter was a Lancashire League player for Ramsbottom, while Daggett himself has played over 100 games in the Lancashire League, since making his debut in the competition at the age of fifteen, playing in the Worsley Cup final of 2005 and signing for Warwickshire for 2006, who he has remained with until 2009 when he joined Northamptonshire.
He is currently studying for a degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Salford
and is currently on his third year of the degree.
At a recent Northants v Yorkshire game, Lee was the star of the show as he joined in with the crowd in some lively banter and even joined in a game of impromptu cricket with a couple of young lads, Crankie, Wraithy and Jedward. Top Man.
Lee became the Golden Boy of Lords in August 2011 at the Middlesex versus Northamptonshire when he became an active Member of a lively Stag Party. To cries of 'Daggett for England' and 'Let's go Daggett, Let's go', Lee smiled, waved and bowled superbly! You're our boy Daggett!
