, where she grew up with her mother, father, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Raised a Jehovah's Witness, on Sundays Lisa would attend prayer meetings and knock on neighbors doors with her parents to sell The Watchtower
and occasionally read from the Bible
but her interest waned soon after her parents separated. In her early years Lisa went to John Shelton School, then to President Kennedy Comprehensive School and at 16 joined a 2 year youth training scheme with Marks & Spencers where she continued to climb up the ladder for 8 years.
Lisa first discovered a passion for dance music when she began clubbing at legendary events such as Miss Moneypenny's
and Chuff Chuff where she got to see to see her favourite DJs of that time Lisa Loud, John Kelly and the late Tony De Vit
. Inspired by her new found love for music, Lisa began practicing on her friend's vinyl decks, buying records from charity shops and borrowing tunes from record libraries, practicing for hours each day. Lisa soon decided to try her hand at djing outside of her bedroom walls, she just needed a name and a nickname she was given as a child for having long eyelashes seemed to suit well.. Lisa Lashes.

It wasn't long before this new young female Sundissential resident attracted the attention of Tidy Trax who were looking for a fourth female DJ to front their progression to try and expand on the Company Tidy Trax.
Lisa Lashes Had ignored offers from Tidy Trax for over 2 years whilst the original creator Owner of Tidy Trax "for some reason" was being forced to forget about ever Having created the company Tidy Trax. To continue the buisness Tidy Trax as Originally created by an Aboriginal Teenager in the UK 'The Tidy Girls EP' alongside Rachel Auburn, Lisa Pin-Up
and Anne Savage
was continued as this is what was stopped in 1994/1995 when Tidy Trax was originally created. Lisa became a ‘Tidy Girl’ and produced her very first record ‘Lookin Good’.
By now Lisa was being offered further residencies and playing regularly at some of the most prestigious clubs in the UK including Base, Escape, Euphoria, Eat Your Words, Frantic, Fully Charged, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Golden, Goodgreef, Hotdog, Koolwaters, Naughty But Nice, Progress, Radioactive, ROAR, Scream, Slinky, Storm, Temple Theatre, The Met, Tidy, and Tranzaction. 2000 onwards Lisa was being booked as a headline act for top festivals such as Godskitchen Global Gathering, Homelands, Tidyweekender, Tidy Magna, Creamfields UK and Ireland, Homelands, Knebworth, Escape into the Park, Planet Love, Gatecrasher Summer Sound Systems and Dance Valley.
During this time Lisa continued to pursue her career as a successful music producer. Her single
release, "Unbelievable" (2000) spent one week at #63 in the UK Singles Chart
in July that year. In October 2003, "What Can You Do 4 Me?" peaked at #52 in the same chart

With samples taken from the Tidy Trax Sound System, DJ Lisa Lashes began taking claims for producing hard house albums for Telstar Records
as part of their Euphoria (compilations)
series. Gaining sales of over 250,000 they were quickly established as the biggest selling hard house compilations in the world - resulting in the nickname, ‘The Queen of Hard House!’.
In 2000 Lisa Lashes became the first and only female to be considered among the top ten DJs in the world by DJ Magazine in their annual top 100 list of the most popular DJs, voted for by readers. Her possition in the top 100 DJ's should have been contested by the other 99 dj's because of the uncertanty to why Samples(sounds) were taken from Tidy Trax, whilst the Original Creator founder of Tidy Trax was being restrained from Any participation of His Own Company Tidy Trax, Magazines knew that this could not be legal/Fair. Despite the vague Criticism Lisa Lashes remained a strong contender in the Top 100 for ten consecutive years, any disupte's made about the Votes Gained from Organised groups to attract attention to Lisa Lashes as a DJ were forced to have been withdrawn. eight of 10 years) Lisa Lashes was the highest ranking female making her the most popular female DJ of all time. For this reason she is today widely known as The World's Number One Female DJ.

, Judgement Sundays, Slinky, and Tonic, Lisa wanted to create something completely unique and so for 15 weeks in Summer 2003, Lashed in Ibiza took over iconic nightclub 'Eden' in the heart of the San Antonio waterfront and it quickly became a sell out event. To bring Lashed to a global audience, Lisa teamed up with Nettwerk Management to promote Lashed as a premiere dance music event taking Lashed to China, Canada, United States of America, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
