were drawn up when it was both.
The Boundary Commission for England continues to treat the four unitary authorities
of East Riding of Yorkshire

and North East Lincolnshire
as a single review area in its periodic reviews of constituency arrangements.
The area is divided into
10 Parliamentary constituencies
- 4 Borough constituencies
and 6 County constituencies.
The Boundary Commission proposed retaining these
10 constituencies, with changes to realign constituency boundaries
with the boundaries of current local government wards,
and to reduce the electoral disparity between constituencies.
These changes were implemented at the United Kingdom general election, 2010.
