Indian Premier League
announced it would host a Champions Twenty20 Cricket tournament in October 2008. The tournament would consist of the top two domestic Twenty20 sides from India, England, Australia and South Africa. The prize fund would be £2.5 Million with £1 million for the winning team. Pakistan will also be a part of the tournament.
