, Lloyd went on to try a stand-up career. Lloyds appeared on the ITV shows Take the Mike and Stand Up Britain, and his set was based on the positive side of being hard of hearing.

Lloyd claims to be possibly the only deaf comedy improviser in the world. He founded the group Improvedy and had a hit show at the 2005 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Lloyd also was part of the very successful 'Reduced Edinburgh Fringe Impro show' at the Main C Venue.
