In electrical transmission line
s, the term loading means the insertion of impedance
into a circuit
to change the characteristics of the circuit.
The loading of a communication channel may be expressed as (a) the equivalent mean power and the peak power as a function of the number of voice channels or (b) the equivalent power of a multichannel complex or signal composite referred to zero transmission level point (0TLP).
Computers and electronic devices take time to save or open files, which is commonly tracked with a loading bar, or progress bar
as it is officially named. They show progress with visual representation, i.e. filling a box, and may include amount processed or percentage processed. These bars help the user understand how much time they have to wait. Most have the word "Loading..." somewhere on the bar, hence the term "Loading bar".
Transmission line
In communications and electronic engineering, a transmission line is a specialized cable designed to carry alternating current of radio frequency, that is, currents with a frequency high enough that its wave nature must be taken into account...

Electrical impedance
Electrical impedance, or simply impedance, is the measure of the opposition that an electrical circuit presents to the passage of a current when a voltage is applied. In quantitative terms, it is the complex ratio of the voltage to the current in an alternating current circuit...

Telecommunication circuit
A telecommunication circuit is any line, conductor, or other conduit by which information is transmitted.A dedicated circuit, private circuit, or leased line is a line that is dedicated to only one use...

Chemically, loading is the process by which insoluble small suspended particles are made heavier by adding alum in order to increase the rate of sedimentation of particles.Computers and electronic devices take time to save or open files, which is commonly tracked with a loading bar, or progress bar
Progress bar
A progress bar is a component in a graphical user interface used to convey the progress of a task, such as a download or file transfer. Often, the graphic is accompanied by a textual representation of the progress in a percent format....
