Sultan ul Manazrin, Imam ul Ulema wal mashaikh, First Fatah e Qadian Maulana Nawab ud Din Ramdasi (1870-1946) was a scholar, debator and in Sufi orer of Silsila Chishtia Sabria Sirajia. About 10 Lakh persons took oath on his hands. He was a preacher of Islam.

Early Life

Hazrat Maulana Khawaja Nawab ud din Ramdasi Chishti Sabri Siraji born in 1870 in Ramdas Amritser.His father Muhammad Mosa Al Raei had been died before his birth.Maulana Nawab ud din travelled a lot for education like Ajmer, Bareli, Batala, Farakhabad etc.He got education from Maulana Gul Muhammad Shah Qadri, Maulana Fazl ur rehman Gunj Muradabadi and Mujadid e Din Maulana Ahmad Raza Khan Barelvi. Maulana Naeem ud din Muradabadi and Syed Deedar Ali Shah were his Batch fellows. Mualana Umer Ichervi , Maulana Hashmat Ali etc learned from Maulana Ramdasi in Logic and Dialogue especially.Ataullah Shah Bukhari was also his pupil and started his debate career under guidance of Maulana Ramdasi.

Logic and Dialogue

According to Professor Nazar Sabri of Attock (As written in Aftab e Shawalik) Maulana Ramdasi and Maulana Wali Muhammad Jalandhari had no need of Loud Speakers and addressed ususlly 10000-15000 persons in sessions. About ten Lac persons took spiritual oath on his hand.

Preach of Islam

A lot of emperors and prosperous persons came and requested to reside in their areas but Maulana Ramdasi denied and never made any place his estate. Amritser, Hoshiarpur, UP, CP, Haiderabad Daccan, Gilgit, Hunazza, Quetta, Peshawar, Jammu Kashmir, Multan , Sahiwal and a lot of other places welcomed Maulana Ramdasi. He was offered by Maulana Shabbir Ahmad Usmani and other reputed Scholars but Maulana Ramdasi never gave importance.

Sub-Continent Movements

He participated in movements like Khilafat, Independence etc.For Pakistan Movement While airing flag He said in Nasri Shrine Jalandhar that it is sixth member of our faith Islam like Kalma, Prayer , fasting , Zakat and Pilgrimagae that all should be under flag of Muslim League.

Quid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah requested Maulana Nawab ud din Ramdasi to allow his grand son Hazrat Hassan ul Asar Hafiz Mazhar ud din to participate in election but Maulana Ramdasi ordered his spiritual follower Chaudhary Zafarullah of Jahanian

Death

Maulana Ramdasi returned to his homeland Ramdas, six months before his demise. One day he got up and started to cut a tree. Some sikhs came at once and asked reason. Maulana said "it will be my last rest place". In May 1946, Maulana died. Faqih e azam Maulana Muhammad Sharif sialkoti of Kotli Loharan performed his funeral prayer with tears. Maulana Naeem ud din Muradabadi said "A hand of Islam separated".
