Quid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah requested Maulana Nawab ud din Ramdasi to allow Hazrat Hassan ul Asar Hafiz Mazhar ud din to participate in election but Maulana Ramdasi ordered his spiritual follower Chaudhary Zafarullah of Jahanian.Chaudhary Zafarullah defeated Congress opponents and succeded on plate form of Muslim League in Jehanian.

The main educational institutions of jahanian are Govt. High School Jahanian, Govt Islamia School Jahanian, Govt girls High School jahanian.
The town has its own boys and girls degree colleges & lots of private colleges also placed. The division public school is already working call in short D.P.S Jahanian.
There is another great school is working in Jahanian,that was Missali Zakariya Cadet Secondry School Jahainan.

Transport

There is a railway station and a public bus stand. People rely mostly on Public Station Van type transport. As Jahanian is situated at the National Highway (N5-A) bypass, so that's why for traveling to other cities, people can easily get conveyance all of the time during day and night. From this bypass, passengers can go to Lahore, Islamabad

City life

Jahanian is basically an agriculture-oriented area.

 in 1919. It is divided into seven main blocks. Most people are small traders, sole proprietors and business people. Others are employed in private and public sectors. It is also an important trading center of the area, known for its cotton and oilseed mills.

A Municipal Committee, THQ Hospital, Veterinary Hospital, NSRC office and a civil court.

The town itself has about one hundred thousand residents. In the sub-division (tehsil) of which it is administrative capital are 180 villages with populations ranging from 500 to 5,000.
