Shri Md Shamsul Hasan Khan (born 13 February 1926) was Member of Parliament in the sixth Lok Sabha
from Pilibhit Constituency elected in 1977 on Bharatiya Lok Dal
's ticket. Shri Md Shamsul Hasan Khan was son of Shri Mohd. Badrul Hasan Khan, who was the nawab of sherpur reasat under Rampur
state.

and after that he went to Cambridge University in 1942 to attend Bachelor's degree.
He married Smt. Razia Bano Begam but had no offspring from her. Shri Md Shamsul Hasan Khan was very impressed with Indian National Congress
Idology, so he joined Indian National Congress
as member of All-India Congress Committee (O) and became President of District Congress Committee (O) unit and occupied the position for six years.
He was a prominent Agriculturist from Pilibhit
, was also member of Farmers' forum of India
. He also started a school in sherpur village named Kishwarjahan School, Sherpur and became lifelong President of this school.
He was a renowned social worker in the Pilibhit
, known for Educational and agricultural development of Pilibhit District
. he Experimented and introduced new and scientific methods for the development of agriculture and horticulture, and his movement was pioneered rubber plantation, in Tarai area of Pilibhit
and Nainital Districts.
He loved outdoor games and became a member of Rotary Club, Pilibhit

He was elected as sixth Member of Parliament from Pilibhit Constituency with 71.32% votes on Bharatiya Lok Dal
Ticket and defeated his rival contender who was from Indian National Congress
and received 19.73% votes in the general election held in the 1977 and claimed highest victory ever from Pilibhit Constituency seat.
